STRAWBERRY LEMONADE COOKIES

Taste Spring In A Cookie!

First I want to apologize.  One of my biggest pet peeves is when I pin a recipe on pinterest and something goes wrong.  Either the wrong page comes up when you go to the link, or it’s unavailable, or the information is just wrong.  On my monthly menu I suggested that you check out this cookie recipe.  Two of the before mention pet peeves came to fruition…so sorry.  I am here to fix it though folks!  What I can say about the link that I featured, they had stunning photos of these little beauties.  Me…not a pro.  At least you get a recipe for great easy cookies though!!!

Strawberry Lemonade Cookies:

Ingredients:

Cookies:

1 Box Betty Crocker Super Moist Lemon Cake Mix

1 Box Betty Crocker Super Moist Strawberry Cake Mix

4 Eggs Total (2 for each cake mix)

2/3 Cup Veggie Oil (divided, 1/3 cup for each cake mix)

1 Cup Powdered Sugar for dusting sticky cookie dough

Glaze:

2 Tsp Lemon Juice

1 Cup Powdered Sugar

1-2 Tablespoons Milk

Directions:

Mix Each box of cake mix individually with 2 eggs and 1/3 cup oil.  Take a table spoon of each color dough and mix into two separate balls.  Smush the two balls together to form a cookie.  Dust both sides of the cookie with powdered sugar and place on a lined cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

After the cookies have cooled mix the glaze and drizzle on top of the cookies.  It will settle into the cracks of the cookie, it does not “stand up” like frosting.  It will harden.  Enjoy!
